Update July : Ricky had all his teeth extracted a few months ago and he is doing great without them! He still eats hard food and plays with all the toher kitties. He has been in our rescue for nearly a year. It's not right that a baby kitten grew into an adult cat while waiting to find a fur-ever home. Please apply now to adopt Ricky, so he can start sharing his love with your family.
Update March : Ricky has been in our rescue since he was a 10 week old kitten, and now he is 9 months old and still waiting for someone to adopt him. We discovered that he has a gum condition and is being treated with steroids. We have had repeat bloodwork done and our vet is confident he is ready for adoption!
We are seeking an adopter who can afford regular veterinary check-ups and care for Ricky. He is an awesome young cat, gets along GREAT with other cats and really enjoys playing with our lilttle dog too.
He would make a great addition to your home!
Ricky the Trailer Park Boy is from the Green Ridge Trailer Park colony in Eastern Passage. He is the 7th and most recent kitten we have trapped from the 2 feral mother cats. At first, Ricky just loved the sound of his own voice, because he meowed constantly, asking to be let out of his cage and to be snuggled. The crying stopoed as soon as I picked him up.
He was a lilttle scared, but was easy to pick up and he quickly adapted to our home of several cats and a small dog.
Ricky is extremely affectionate and wants to snuggle under the bedcovers all the time. It would be best if we could find him a home with at least one other cat, to keep him company, as he is a very social kitty.
This cat has already been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, has been vaccinated and neutered. Please consider adopting this lovely kitty!
